I started Solar Dave because too many homeowners were getting burned by high-pressure solar sales tactics. Going solar should be exciting — not stressful.
My approach is simple: I give you the real numbers, design the right system for your home, and let you make the decision. No pushy salespeople. No confusing jargon.
I work with a tight group of local electricians and installers I've personally vetted — people I'd trust on my own roof. When the crew shows up at your home, they represent the same standard I hold myself to — because I picked them, and I'm accountable for them.
One thing I do differently: I'm independent. I design your system and oversee the entire project, and the physical installation is performed by a licensed, insured Massachusetts installation partner — your installation agreement and workmanship warranty come from that licensed company. You get the accountability of one person who knows your project cold, plus the backing of a licensed installation company. Best of both.
I know Massachusetts — the weather, the utilities, and the state incentives like the Massachusetts SMART program and net metering. That local knowledge makes a real difference.
